Cruelty Free Perfume | Harvey Prince Temptress Perfume

I feel like it’s a constant struggle to find products that are safe for the earth while still keeping up with my fashion and beauty ideals. I love pampering myself with quality scents and cosmetics but I want my footprint to be as small as it can be at the same time. What’s a woman to do? I’m certainly not giving up my little luxuries!

Cruelty Free Perfume | Harvey Prince Temptress Perfume

Harvey Prince fragrances are scents that I can feel good about wearing. They are crafted locally in the USA and are 100% cruelty free.  These perfumes use the finest natural and essential oils and there is absolutely no animal testing, phthalates, parabens, sulfates, benzene, GMOs, or triclosan.

I received the Harvey Prince Temptress Tall Spray Perfume (Temptress was renamed from Eau Flirt) which is a cruelty free perfume that is described as a subtle, sexy allure of flowers and spice. According to the website, the perfume has notes of pumpkin pie and lavender, which have been shown to evoke a more passionate response in men than any other smell. Other notes include citrus, jasmine, freesia, ylang ylang, nutmeg, cinnamon and ambers.

Now, I’m not really a gourmand when it comes to perfumes. I don’t generally choose scents that smell like food. I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect from a perfume that has notes of pumpkin pie and lavender.  At first scent, Temptress is a slightly sweet, slightly floral scent. I didn’t notice anything that specifically reminded me of pumpkin pie but in dry down, did notice the notes of nutmeg and cinnamon mixing with the florals.  That said, I love the way the notes combined in this scent.
