Now that some of that awful humidity has gone away, I’ve been getting in a little more walking during the day. When I walk, I want something that’s both stylish and functional. You never know who you might run into while you’re walking and sometimes I want to stop at a friend’s house for a cup of coffee or stop at the store for something on the way home.

Mountain Hardwear has the perfect walking clothes! I am really in love with the La Rambla Skirt in Espresso. The La Rambla is a 22-inch hiking skirt, featuring a subtle textured nylon weave, flared hem and slightly dropped seamless conical waist that feels great under a pack. The waist is lined with Micro-Chamois™ to keep you feeling as smooth as you look.  I really love this skirt.  It’s cool and moves well when you walk so it’s very comfortable to wear.  The nylon weave really lets the fabric breathe which is great on a hot day. The skirt has front hand pockets and two snap close cargo pockets so I can bring along my keys or change for a cup of coffee. It’s available in four colors: Ice Fall, Moon Dust, Stone Green, and Espresso.

Their Scenic Route short sleeve shirt is the perfect shirt to pair with the La Rambla hiking skirt. The material is soft and silk and with venting eyelets at the underarm, it’s really easy to stay cool while you’re walking. It has a pocket on the sleeve as well as a hidden security pocket! It comes in British Tan, Sea Green, Gold Dust and Rum.

Mountain Hardwear has a truly amazing selection of clothing, gear and accessories for the person who enjoys spending time in the outdoors whether they’re walking, hiking, camping, skiing or enjoying another outdoor activity.  I really love the quality and comfort of their clothes.  They have some fantastic backpacks that would work really well for back to school time!

  1. These are some neat items. I used to wear a lot of dress clothes, but not much anymore. I’m always looking for casual clothing I don’t have to worry about walking through the woods in.
