How to Remove Wrinkles From Clothes
Years ago, removing wrinkles from clothes involved an iron and an ironing board. But, to be honest, I am really bad at ironing especially when it comes to shirts. Most of the time, the shirt comes out worse looking than when I started. I do everything I can to buy fabrics that don’t need to be ironed.
My daughter is getting married this weekend. And, of course, that involves getting fancy. While my dress doesn’t need to be ironed, my husband’s shirt definitely does. So, if you’re wondering how to remove wrinkles from clothes without ironing them or taking them to the dry cleaners, I have the solution.
How do you get wrinkles out of clothes without an iron?
There are a number of different hacks you can try:
- Hang it in the shower
- Use your flat iron (for your hair)
- Use your blowdryer on hot
- Try using the steam from a teapot
But, honestly, most of these don’t really work. You might make a few of the wrinkles a bit less noticeable. But, you won’t remove wrinkles from clothes completely using any of these methods.
InstaSteam removes wrinkles
So, who has an iron anymore? If you don’t, you’re not alone. Thankfully, InstaSteam is a revolutionary product that can remove wrinkles without electricity or batteries. It’s the world’s first electricity-free clothing steamer.
Check it out here and be sure to stock up on the InstaSteam pods.
This makes InstaSteam ideal for traveling or for keeping in your desk at work. Or, if you’re like me, for using on those rare occasions when you need to get dressed up.
How does InstaSteam work?
So, how do you get wrinkles out of clothes using an InstaSteam? It’s simple. Just place the garment on a hanger and put it inside the InstaSteam garment bag.
Then, take one InstaSteam pod and open it up. Add water to the fill line.

And, promptly place the pod inside the garment bag. Zip the garment bag up and wait. It can take anywhere from 3 to 5+ minutes depending on the size of the garment, how thick the fabric is, and how wrinkled it is.
You won’t believe how easy it is to remove wrinkles from clothes using this!
When the time is up, just remove the InstaSteam pod and pour out the leftover water. Be careful, it’s hot. You’ll notice that the garment is damp from the steam.
So, just hang it up and let it dry. Once it’s completely dry, you’ll notice that most, if not all, of the wrinkles are gone.
So, if you’re wondering how to iron clothes without electricity, give InstaSteam a try. I found that it worked very well on my husband’s brand new shirt.
There were a few small wrinkles left. But, this shirt has been folded up in a package for probably a year if not more.
For your average shirt, right out of the dryer, it would probably remove wrinkles from clothes completely.
What can I use InstaSteam on?
InstaSteam works great to remove wrinkles from clothes whether that’s a dress shirt, skirt, pants or a dress. But, you can also think out of the box and hang a short pair of curtains in the garment bag.
It’s ideal to keep at work in case you need to freshen up after a long night. Or, if you’re traveling and want to be sure that your clothes aren’t wrinkled coming out of the suitcase.
Or, you can keep one on hand for those times when you have to get your dress shirt unwrinkled for a big event. This is an easy way to remove wrinkles from clothes when you’re not at home.
Check it out here and be sure to stock up on the InstaSteam pods.
You won’t believe how easy it is to remove wrinkles from clothes without using an iron or sending them to the dry cleaners. Look for them soon at retailers near you.
