DIY Night Cream
I learned how to make your own right cream years ago. And, have experimented with several different types over the past few years.
Making your own DIY beauty products is really easy to do. And, I love that I have full control over the ingredients that I use in my recipes.
There are lots of different ways to make a homemade night cream. It’s fairly similar to making your own hand lotion. But, because your skin is much more sensitive, you need to really pay attention to the ingredients.
Whenever I make my own beauty products, I try to stick with natural ingredients. They are so much better for your skin than many of the ingredients found in stores.
If you want to make this DIY night cream with essential oils, it’s very important that you use essential oils that are gentle enough to be applied to your skin. That’s one of the reasons that I chose sweet orange oil.
Best moisturizers for night cream
Typically, night cream will be a little bit heavier than a daytime moisturizing cream. That’s one of the reasons why I chose a homemade night cream with coconut oil. It’s just so good for your skin.
But, there are lots of other moisturizers that would work well including shea butter and cocoa butter. You can adjust this DIY night cream as you need to based on your preferences.
How do you make a night time face cream?
This is very simple to make. All you need to do is to microwave the coconut oil and the cocoa butter until they melt. Let it cool and add Vitamin E and essential oils. Stir gently. Freeze for 20 minutes and then whip with a mixer for 5 minutes until it is light and creamy.
This really only takes a few minutes to make from start to finish. And, you probably already have most of the ingredients for this DIY night cream on hand if you’ve ever made your own beauty products in the past.

How should I store this?
Because there are no preservatives, please store this in your refrigerator for 6 to 8 weeks.
