Are you looking for a simple beauty skin care routine? Beauty routines don’t have to be complicated multi-part routines. What’s most important is that you stick to a routine that you feel comfortable following. It needs to be simple enough for you to follow consistently or it won’t be helpful. As I get older, I find that simple is easier for me to follow.

Beauty Skin Care Routine
Now, one of the most important things to consider when choosing products for your skin care routine is how your skin feels after starting it. Pay attention to how your skin feels when you touch it and whether or not you are more or less prone to breakouts.
Over 40, dull skin can be a real concern so I look for products that leave my skin with a healthy, younger appearance. Here are a few things I think are a vital part of my routine.
Lightweight Moisturizer with SPF
Keep your skin glowing and protected with KORRES Yoghurt Nourishing Fluid Veil Face Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30. This ultra-lightweight fluid instantly disappears into skin, providing broad-spectrum UV protection and deep nourishment.
The silky texture wears beautifully under makeup for a weightless, luminous finish—making this an ideal daily moisturizer throughout the year.
Yoghurt, rich in skin-repairing proteins, helps keep skin nourished and protected while a blend of rice and camapu extract offers hydration and calming properties to soothe skin during sun exposure ($35; Sephora.com).
Keep Your Hair Off Your Face
Take your summer hair styles to new levels with the Hairdo French Braid Band! Simply slide on the braid band as you would with any elasticized headband.
And, it’s the perfect and easy way to add an extra wow-factor to a simple hairstyle! ($10; Ulta and Ulta.com)
Color Safe Hair Products
Now, beachy waves are easy to achieve Cuvée Beauty’s Champagne Spray! A styling spray that creates definition for a lived-in, tousled look.
This signature product creates elegant movement and effortless waves for a piece-y modern silhouette. And, their lightweight formula has a clean feel leaving you with second-day hair every day. ($45; Revolve.com)
Use Lavanila Laboratories The Healthy Deodorant Collection to feel fresh all summer. Get superior odor protection with this award-winning, aluminum-free deodorant that is 100 percent natural, safe, and effective.
And, soothing essential oils blend with beta-glucan technology to fight odor effectively, while soothing, conditioning and nourishing the delicate underarm area. It goes on clean, with no sticky wetness, and delivers long-lasting, luxurious results. ($14; Lavanila.com)

I like the idea of Cuvée Beauty’s Champagne Spray. It hard to find a good hair spray and this one peaks my interest.
I agree, Shelley. It’s a great brand too.
Thanks for the great ideas1 I want to try the Cuvée Beauty’s Champagne Spray.
That does sound amazing!
I can’t believe they still make tons of deodorant with aluminum in the ingredients. I go for the most natural product possible. Oh, I want to try and get the beachy hair! I’ve always envied girls that did but it probably just the great products they use.
Natural is definitely better!
I want to try the Cuvée Beauty’s Champagne Spray. Sounds awesome! Thanks for the tips!
Glad to share, Lisa!
I found this quite interesting. I am over 40 and I do try to find and use products that will keep me looking my best.
I’m the same way, Darcy!
