Non Surgical Eye Bag Removal

Keeping a youthful appearance as you age isn’t always easy especially if you want a non surgical procedure.

One of the things that ages me the most is under-eye bags. Even with relatively youthful skin, I feel like the dark bags, fine lines, and wrinkles make me look older.

I know it’s all part of the natural aging process, but I don’t have to like the changes to my appearance. Thankfully, there are nonsurgical options.

What causes under eye bags?

Bags under the eyes are caused by many different factors. A loss of volume in the face, fluid retention, genetics, and lifestyle choices can all contribute to circles or puffiness around the eye area.

As we age, our skin’s elasticity decreases and collagen production slows down, leading to sagging of the skin around the eyes.

Eye bags can be caused by a variety of factors, including genetics, allergies, poor diet and lifestyle choices such as lack of sleep. As we age, our skin loses its elasticity and collagen production decreases, leading to sagging of the skin around the eyes.

What causes dark circles?

Dark circles are caused by the thinning of the area around the eyes. When blood passes through these vessels, it can appear as a dark or purple hue when viewed from the surface.

Genes, lifestyle choices such as lack of sleep and smoking, allergies, and aging all play factors in developing dark circles.

Can Eyebags be removed without surgery?

The good news is that there are minimally invasive options available to help improve the appearance of circles and under-eye bags. Injectable fillers and laser treatments can be used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, puffiness, and bags around the eyes.

If you want an at home method to remove eyebags, I highly recommend the CurrentBody LED Eye Perfector. Find out more.

Lifestyle changes to reduce eye bags and dark circles

There are some simple lifestyle changes you can make to reduce the appearance of eye bags and circles.

  • Get enough sleep – Aim for 8 hours a night of quality sleep. This will help your body rest, replenish, and give it time to heal.
  • Protect from sun damage – Wear sunscreen and sunglasses to protect yourself from sun damage. Sun exposure can make under eye circles worse.
  • Drink water – It’s important to stay hydrated, as dehydration can cause eye bags. Aim for 8 glasses of water a day.
  • Reduce salt intake – Eating too much salty food can lead to fluid retention and exacerbate under eye bags. Avoid a high-salt diet.
  • Avoiding alcohol – Alcohol can lead to dehydration and fluid retention. This can worsen eye bags.

What about hyaluronic acid?

Hyaluronic acid can be a great option for those looking for non surgical eye bag removal. This is a natural component of our skin that helps to keep it hydrated and plump. As we age, our natural stores become depleted, leading to fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging skin.

This can be administered through either injections, topical creams or gels, or medical grade skincare products.

Home remedies for improving under eye bags

So, here are a few home remedies people have used that may help.

  • Cold or cool compress – Soak a cloth in cold water and place it over the eye area for 10-15 minutes. Cold compresses can help reduce puffiness and swelling.
  • Cucumbers – Place cucumber slices on the eyes for 15 minutes to reduce inflammation. Cucumbers contain antioxidants that can help lighten dark circles.
  • Tea bags – Soak two tea bags in warm water and let them cool. Place the teabags over the eyes for 15 minutes to help reduce puffiness.
  • Elevate your head when sleeping – Elevating your head while sleeping can help reduce fluid retention under the eyes and prevent eye bags from forming. Make sure you’re getting enough sleep.
  • Potatoes – Potatoes contain natural bleaching agents that can help lighten dark circles. Cut a potato into slices, place the slices over your eyes, and let them sit for 10-15 minutes.

Non surgical methods to remove under eye bags

I’m not interested in eyelid surgery, cosmetic surgery, injecting facial fillers, or using chemical peels. I’d prefer to avoid an outpatient procedure completely.

So, if you’re new to the concept of LED lights for facial skin, let me share what I learned. Red LED light therapy has been used in treating under eye bags for years. It can give you a more youthful appearance by reducing inflammation and stimulating the production of collagen.

My skin is already brighter and smoother after only a few weeks. I can’t wait to see what the treated area looks like after the full 8 weeks of treatment.

The treatments take 3 minutes which is fantastic for someone with a busy schedule. You can use it in the morning while you enjoy your coffee. Or, use it at night after you get out of the tub.

You can use this with your favorite Vitamin C or other facial serums and creams. You don’t HAVE to purchase their Green Tea Serum or their Hydrogel Eye Mask. Although, I can say that I really like the Hydrogel Eye Mask used along with the Eye Perfector

So, if you want a non surgical eye bag removal you can do at home, try the Eye Perfector to tighten the skin and remove bags around your eyes. It’s done wonders for me in improving puffy skin.
