Studio Gear Holiday Palette

The holidays are the time to step up your beauty routine and get a little bit more glamorous than usual. Normally, throughout the year, I tend to choose neutrals and I prefer a very natural look when it comes to my beauty routine. At the holiday time, when we are entertaining and going to parties, I enjoy adding a little bit of sophistication to my routine. I received the Studio Gear Holiday Palette from Brand Backer for my review.

To me, sophisticated make up means that my lips and eyes are treated to a more dramatic application of make up.  Instead of soft, neutral colors, I go for bolder deep pink lip products and often create a smokey eye instead of a soft pink pastel.

I received the Studio Gear Holiday Palette for review and was pleased to learn that this sultry, shimmery palette of dramatic shades is absolutely perfect for creating a classic smokey eye look.  Plus, it also has just a hint of unexpected golden glimmer that is just perfect for the holidays.

The Studio Gear Holiday Palette includes four eye shadows and one matching blush. The eye shadow colors are platinum, frost, coal, and glimmer.  The blush is a soft pink and is called snowy glow. There are instructions to create the smokey eye look on the inside cover of the eye shadow palette. The smokey eye look instructions are both written and there is a photo to see how the final look should appear as well.

If you would like to create a more sophisticated look for the holidays, the Studio Gear Holiday Palette will definitely be the palette you want. At only $25, this is definitely a very affordable makeup palette.

  1. I’ve never tried Studio Gear, but I love flat palettes that are easy to store and travel with, such as these. The colors look like they would blend easily for a great holiday look.
