prAna Sustainable Clothing
As much as I enjoy shopping, I try to be aware of what type of footprint my purchases leave behind. Fashion isn’t always friendly to the environment when you consider growing the fibers for the clothing, manufacturing the cloth, assembling the clothes, and the shipping and distribution process. Thankfully, prAna has fashionable clothing that’s sustainable!

prAna believes in sustainability and offers products that use organic cotton, recycled wool, hemp, and fair trade materials. They believe in a code of conduct that believes in humane working conditions and promotes ethical business practices at third-party manufacturing facilities around the world. These are beliefs that I can stand behind and support.
Not only do they believe in things that are important to me, they have a wide range of women’s and men’s clothing and accessories that are fashion forward and stylish. I knew that prAna had all sorts of activewear since I own a few of their yoga pieces. But, what I didn’t know was that they also offer streetwear including jeans, sweaters, dresses, skirts, and hoodies.
I received the Rockaway Jacket in Gravel and the Kara Jean in Indigo.
Rockaway Jacket
The Rockaway Jacket is a honeycombed textured zip-front fleece hoodie cut for a standard fit. Flatlock stitching adds durability while a high-low hem, a contrast hood lining, and self-cuffs with articulated thumbholes add style. It’s made of 50% Recycled Polyester and 50% Polyester.
It would go perfectly with one of these eco-friendly fair trade bags.
Kara Jean
The Kara Jean is a fitted pant cut with a low rise, narrow leg, and traditional 5-pocket styling. The fabric is organic cotton, soft stretch “Kara” denim that allows for breathability and movement. The leg can easily be cuffed or worn long.
I love how stylish and comfortable these two items are. The Rockaway Jacket is nice and warm and just perfect for the cooler fall days we’re having right now. I love the added length in the sleeves as well. The Kara Jean is just perfect for casual wear and the fitted legs make it very stylish. I appreciate the versatility of being able to wear the cuffs up or down. They work perfectly with my favorite boots for a fall outfit.

I also have some of their pieces and when sorting out my closet to purge items, kept them of course. I love how the shirts are long enough for my long arms. I really like the lighter grey colors and your combo of indigo and grey looks nice!
