I’m sure you have heard me mention before that I have very short, thin eyelashes. While both children were born with amazing, thick, dark eyelashes, they didn’t get them from me. If I don’t wear mascara, my eyelashes are practically non-existent. I have heard a lot of great things about the new Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara so I decided it was time to try it out for myself. This post contains affiliate links.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
My current mascara is Tarte’s Lights Camera Flashes which has been working quite well for me but I wanted to see if I could get more length with the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. According to the packaging their hourglass shaped brush was designed to separate, coat and curl each lash to voluptuous perfection.
One coat of the carbon black, collagen-fueled formula and lashes are full, defined and stretched to unbelievable lengths. Two coats and lashes are even more luscious, curled and dramatic. Three coats and achieve the most intense black, oversized, multidimensional lashes possible.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara has a film forming polymer that provides smudge proof, all day wear. It contains acacia senegal tree extract that nourishes, thickens and locks curl in place. The unique peptides give your lashes the deepest, intense black possible.
So, did it work? Yes definitely. I normally need three coats with Tarte’s Lights Camera Flashes to give me the length I want but after only two coats, I had more length & fullness with Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara than I had seen before.
They were gorgeous, thick and full and did do a good job lasting throughout the day. I did have some smudging under eye since it was a very hot, humid day but nothing awful. It was also relatively easy to remove with a makeup wipe at the end of the day.
All in all, if you want lashes that are thicker, longer and more noticeable, I recommend you try Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. I’m not sure if it’s the formula or the hourglass shaped wand but it definitely delivers.

I don’t think that I’ve ever tried Too Faced products. That mascara is so pretty, it really makes your eyes stand out!

This looks good on you. I don’t normally wear mascara so I don’t think it would pay to use it. I should thank my parents for my nice lashes I guess!

I’ve been looking for a great mascara. I don’t have the best lashes and rely heavily on a good mascara to get my eyes to pop.

I like the Too Faced mascara better than the Tarte, and I’ve tried both. The Tarte flaked on me.
Oh that’s not good at all. I didn’t see flaking but I do like the length this one provides more.
I try to replace my mascara every 6 months so will keep my eye out for this next time!
