A smile can make you instantly more attractive but for many people it’s not easy to smile. I used to worry about my smile because I had plaque and tartar build up.  It made me self conscious and is probably part of why I don’t smile that often now.  Thankfully, there are products now that can make keeping your smile plaque free much easier.

Keeping your smile plaque free

Keeping Your Smile Plaque Free

Just in case you’re wondering just what plaque is, plaque is a soft, sticky film that builds up on your teeth and contains millions of bacteria. The bacteria in the plaque causes tooth decay and gum disease if you don’t remove them by brushing and flossing. Tartar is basically hardened plaque. Susceptibility to plaque can vary quite a bit from person to person. Crest and Oral-B offer products that will help.

Crest Pro-Health Clinical Plaque Control Toothpaste significantly reduces plaque and helps keep it from coming back. It kills the germs that cause plaque and slows their ability to generate new plaque. It also fights cavities, helps prevent and reverse gingivitis, builds protection against sensitivity, fights tartar, whitens teeth and fights bad breath.

Crest Pro-Health Tartar Protection Anticavity Fluoride Rinse helps prevent tartar and cavities. It also helps prevent surface stains to help keep your smile white. There’s nothing that makes me more self conscious than knowing that my teeth aren’t as white as they can be. Afters years of drinking coffee (and soda when I was younger), my teeth are nowhere near as white as I would like them.

Keeping your smile plaque free

Oral-B Pro-Health Clinical Toothbrush with Pro-Flex has flexing sides that adjust to the unique curves and contours of your teeth, including your gumline.  This means you get a better clean than with a traditional toothbrush. Clinical Pro-Flex is gentle on your gums too.

Keeping your smile plaque free is easier with Crest and Oral-B. Now I can focus on which lip gloss to wear instead of plaque and tartar. Click here to learn more about all products in the Crest family! Like Crest on Facebook for future offers, promotions and more!

  1. Interesting to know. I use Crest mouthwash but I think it’s the anticavity kind, not the plaque protection.

  2. We use Crest all the time.  My husband keeps Pro-Health mouthwash all the time.

  3. Thanks for letting me know about this. I love Crest toothpaste – it’s the only kind I will use so this would be a perfect addition to my oral health line up

  4. I think there are more people than what we realize where smiling is not an instant thing due to self consciousness.  I love you have reviewed this product and what you had to say about it because finding a product that guards against plaque is great information to know about.  I’ll pick up a bottle the next time I’m in the store.

  5. Teeth are so important to a persons self-esteem. My family has terrible teeth (thank GOD I am adopted!). Genetically they were not blessed and have numerous dental issues. They NEED products like this!

  6. I have a terrible tartar problem. I have to work at it constantly to keep my teeth clean!

  7. Jenna Wood says
