Move over winter matte colors. The sun kissed glow is one of the most popular summer 2015 beauty trends. Summer is the perfect time to tie your hair up in a pony tail and head to the beach. While we can’t all achieve that effortless sun kissed glow by relaxing on the beach all day, we can achieve it with a few simple steps.

Summer 2015 Beauty Trends – Sun Kissed Glow
If you have darker skin, you can achieve that sun kissed glow with the help of tan or peachy make up. Choose a soft brown or bronze to accent your eyes and a lot of mascara for a dramatic look. Add a nude lip gloss and you’ve achieved the hottest of summer 2015 beauty trends.
For those with lighter complexions, don’t worry, you can still achieve a sun kissed glow with the help of a bronzer or illuminator. Define your cheekbones or illuminate your eyes. Don’t forget to add a touch of illuminator in the inside corner of your eyes to brighten them.
You can add a natural light infused shimmer to your look by wearing a semi-transparent nude, manicured nail with a pearly dimension like “Almost Almond” from Sally Hansen’s Complete Salon Manicure Collection. Global Color Ambassador, Madeline Poole, chose this shade because it offered semi-coverage that would act as an illuminator or glow on the nails.
As the exclusive nail sponsor of Stella McCartney Collections in 2015, Sally Hansen continues to collaborate with the designer to present clean, sleek head-to-toe looks for the New York runway. Sally Hansen compliments Stella McCartney’s silhouettes of modern femininity with a gorgeous bare look that adds the perfect glow that is trending this spring season.
Sally Hansen’s award-winning Complete Salon Manicure collection infuses trend-setting shades with an expert quality formula to deliver salon-caliber results. Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure delivers seven salon manicure steps in one bottle. Chip resistant strength joins gel-quality shine. Must-have color meets nourishing benefits. Plus, a built-in base and top coat, it’s everything you need to achieve a professional manicure at home.
I had the opportunity to try the “Almost Almond” nail polish from Sally Hansen’s Complete Salon Manicure Collection. As someone who has a lighter complexion, I frequently turn to nudes when polishing my nails. Some colors are just overwhelming for those that have a lighter complexion.
That isn’t the case with “Almost Almond.” This is a very buildable polish that looks great whether you use one coat or three. It dries quickly and has a gorgeous high gloss finish. The picture above is with three coats.
You can find Sally Hansen products at most mass retailers and drug stores.

Ha … I am always pale! I have “English skin” as I put it (my dad’s side is from England) and I burn very easily.
Just like me, Liz!
I am almost see through when it comes to complexion, and I tend to freckle in the sun. I don’t wear nudes often, but I’ve begun branching out with nail colors. This Almond color is absolutely gorgeous on you!
Thanks, Jenna. I always feel more comfortable in nudes & neutrals.
I always say I don’t tan I just turn a darker shade of beige. Those neutral colors work really well but I must admit I’m always attracted to bold nail polishes.
I do like bold colors but for nudes tend to look better on me.
