Stocking Up for College Beauty

Last Updated on January 6, 2023 by Ellen Christian

My daughter has one more semester in college before she graduates and finds a job. It’s hard to believe that my time as a mom of school-aged children is almost complete. It really does seem like only yesterday that I watched them get on the school bus for the first time. Now I’m stocking up for college beauty needs before she begins her final semester.

Stocking Up for College Beauty

College students don’t have a lot of disposable income to spend on things like college beauty needs. When there are tuition bills and books to consider, beauty often gets put at the bottom of the list but it really shouldn’t. Taking care of your appearance and your skin while you’re young will mean that the years don’t catch up with you as quickly when you’re older.

Sarah and I headed to Walmart to pick up a few things before she heads back to school. We made sure to get the most important beauty staples: disposable razors, shaving cream, lip balm, and lotion. Then I added a few splurges like a cute cosmetic bag and scrunchies just in case.

I know that feeling neat, clean and pretty helps her self-confidence level. Even at 48, I feel more confident and secure when I feel attractive. She likes the Schick® Hydro Silk® Razor because it has five curve-sensing blades for a close shave. It also has a water-activated moisturizing serum to help keep her skin soft and remove skin irritation. It helps moisturize your skin for up to 2 hours after shaving.

Before you head out to get your own Schick® disposable razors, take a minute to print out this buy one get one free coupon! When I printed it, there were two buy one get one free coupons. One was for the Schick® Hydro and the other was for the Schick® Xtreme3, Quattro or Slim Twin. That means you can get four razors for the price of two.Stocking up for college beauty
