So, you may have guessed that I sort of have a thing for nail polish. I love all sorts of different types so when I was given the chance to review some SinfulColors new shades from their summer collection, I was thrilled. I received three shades from their Silk + Satin collection and three shades from their Full Throttle collection.

SinfulColors Silk + Satin and Full Throttle
The polishes in Silk + Satin from SinfulColors have a demi-matte silk texture. The Silk + Satin collection is not quite a matte and not quite a gloss. It’s somewhere in between the two. The Silk + Satin Collection features blues, yellows, corals and soft silvers. To get full coverage, I needed three coats of this polish but I do like the slightly less than glossy look to it. These are the colors in the Silk + Satin Collection:
- Matte About Blue: A matte-nificent cornflower blue
- Pipaya: A soft flash of coral
- Prime Purple: A delicate dose of lilac
- Real Teal: A quiet mermaid green
- Silver Solution: A gentle shimmering silver
- Solar Flux: A subtle touch of yellow
SinfulColors Full Throttle collection has five texturized shades that range from radiant red to a powerful punch of purple to fiery orange. I love the textured look of these polishes. It goes great with the matte finish. I got amazing coverage with just one coat. These are the colors included in the Full Throttle Collection:
- Rain Rubber: A brilliant burnout blue
- Burn Rubber: A fiery fueled orange
- Race Rubber: A powerful punch of purple
- Rubber Ball: A passionate pit stop pink
- Red Tired: A racy, radiant red
SinfulColors Silk & Satin and Full Throttle are available for $1.99 at Rite Aid, Walgreens and other retailers.

Well, just not a Burn Rubber fan I guess. It’s hard for me to get into orange, except at Halloween, lol. I like the teal here the best.
LOL I really like the hot pink Rubber Ball shade!
I think they are all fun colors for summer! I really love the blue. I like the pink too, I just wish that they stayed on longer.
I agree, Robin. The Full Throttle does stay on longer than the Silk + Satin.
I love all of the colors, but the pink looks amazing on you! I’ve been a fan of Sinful Colors since 2005. I love that they’re affordable enough to have dozens of colors and that they’re formaldehyde free.
Thanks, Melissa! I sort of have a thing for nail polish!
