Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder review
Because I have such a light complexion, I sometimes have problems with powders. Either I end up looking like my face is red or I end up looking like frosty the snowman.
It’s hard to have a healthy glow when your skin is so pale. Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Power somehow managed to give me a healthy glow without making me look pink.
How do you use this?
I applied the powder with a brush which allowed me to have more control over the application than if I used a makeup wedge. A light brush all over with the baked power helped even my skin tone while still giving me a natural glow that was perfectly suited to my complexion.
I used the “highlight-01” color which is the color above on the far right. The mirror in the compact allows for easy on-the-go touchups. This is definitely my powder of choice from this point forward.
Is baked foundation better?
If you take a look at this product, you will notice small veins of shimmer throughout the product. This gives your skin a more healthy, illuminated glow rather than the all over same color that traditional bronzers offer.
I think it’s a more natural look.

I always wear some sort of foundation or powder. I will have to see if I can find this one.
I don’t wear makeup very often because it makes me itch and I break out. Also because I worked in warehouses for years and I didn’t wear any at all. I would sweat in the summer and all the makeup would run. Now that I’m disabled I might one in while put some to go to doctor appointment, thats about the only time I get out. I have to be careful about the makeup I wear. This sounds like something I might want to try, if it doesn’t cost much.
