Review: In the summer, my makeup goes a little bit lighter than in the cooler months. I tend to use a tinted moisturizer more often than a full coverage liquid foundation. Depending on the day, a tinted moisturizer may not be quite enough to give me the coverage I need. I really don’t want to put on a full coverage foundation but I still need a bit more.
The Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Crème Compact SPF 20 is portable and lightweight so I can toss it in my handbag for touch ups when I need them. I found that the coverage is fairly good. While I could not wear it alone without a tinted moisturizer, it definitely helps me get the coverage I need along with a tinted moisturizer. It lasts quite well – averaging for me 4 to 6 hours. I love that it is fragrance and talc free.
If you’re looking for a lightweight compact to help boost coverage, this is definitely it. The color I chose was porcelain (with SPF 20) and it worked perfectly for my complexion.

I am porcelain as well, not all lines carry that light of a color. I am glad to hear Laura Mercier does
I love foundations like this. I will have to check this one out in person.
I am so bad at remembering SPF so I love when something makes it so I can skip that step.
I also need a very fair/light color. Most I run into end up being “yellow” or “red” instead of just being light. Frustrating. This looks like it might actually work though.
love their makeup!!

I love how premium Laura Mercier products are. This sounds like a great way to touch up color in between foundation mishaps.
I am lazy about sunscreen so it is nice that it comes with it in there already!
I want this so tempting 🙂 I just can’t stop myself from buyin their products .
That looks great! I have difficulty finding a pale shade, too.
