The mailman made me happy this week when I received my Glossybox Bergdorf Goodman box. Yes, you heard me correctly. The May Glossybox is a collaboration with Bergdorf Goodman! Each Glossybox receives a $25 gift certificate to Berdorf Goodman. This isn’t something that’s a limited edition box. It’s something that ALL subscribers can get. All products in the box are available at Bergdorf Goodman.

Glossybox Bergdorf Goodman Review

The Bergdorf Goodman Glossybox has six luxury beauty products along with the $25 gift card.  Glossybox ONLY has premium, luxury brands. You’re not going to find any drug store brands in here at all and I love that.  I have never been disappointed with a Glossybox and I was very pleased with what I received in the Bergdorf Goodman box. Besides the GC, it contained:

1.  Napoleon Perdis – Auto Pilot Pre-Foundation Skin Primer.

Get (even more) gorgeous with this gentle, pre-make up base. Scientifically formulated to allow your makeup to “automatically” glide over the skin, Auto Pilot helps prime and soothe the complexion for that flawless finish and helps makeup last even longer. Full size $45.00

My thoughts:

Because I have rosacea, I ALWAYS use primer under my foundation. I’ve never tried a Napoleon Perdis primer before but I really love this one. I received a 1.07 oz which will still last quite a while since you don’t need a lot of it to get good coverage.

2.  Revive – eye Renewal Serum Firming Booster.

This powerful yet lightweight serum helps to tighten the delicate area around the eyes. It improves the appearance of sagging skin and wrinkles while creating a visible, youthful lift. Full size $140.00

My thoughts:

You apply morning and night to your under eye area.  You really only need a little bit to take care of your under eye area. The serum is very light weight and has no scent that I noticed. I had no problems using with my sensitive skin.

3.  Philip B – Light-Weight Deep Conditioning Hair Rinse.

A fragrant, botanical blend of pure plant extracts and essential oils of California lemon, orange, lavender and gardenia, this conditioning treatment is the perfect moisturizer and detangler for all hair types.  Full size $26.00

My thoughts:

Love, love, love! Can’t say enough good things about this. The scent is amazing and the conditioner is moisturizing without weighing down my fine hair. Definitely a product I want more of.

4.  Aterlier Cologne – Rose Anonyme Cologne Absolue.

Rose Anonyme, a breathtaking seductress caught in a stolen affair between light and dark, Turkish Rose Absolute sparkles and intrigues beneath notes of spicy ginger, enwrapped in a sultry veil of velvet oud, Indonesian patchouli, mystic payrus and Somalian incense. Full size $140.00

My thoughts:

OK so this is NOTHING like my signature scent. I tend to go for scents with water notes more than florals.   Rose Anonyme is a yummy mix of floral and spice that really appeals to me. It’s not a clingy floral perfume like my Grandmother wore, instead, it’s seductive and very feminine with a touch of exotic.  Definitely a great date night scent.

5.  Lancer – Eye Contour Lifting Cream.

Eye Contour Lifting Cream is an ultra rich cream formulated to treat the eye area with its blend of sheer light diffusers, cafeine-based firming agents and a powerful collagen boosting peptite system. It helps visibly diminish the appearance of the lines, crow’s feet, puffiness and dark circles. Full size $95.00

My thoughts:

Two eye area products in one box wouldn’t have been my first choice. I’d much rather have had a make up item in here instead.  Once or twice a day, pat the cream around the eye area. It was very gentle on my skin and glided on smoothly.

6.  Lancome – Absolue L’Extrait Regenerating Ultimate Elixir.

Absolue L’Extrait helps reveal firmer, more elastic and more radiant skin. Extracted from the heart of the rare and resilient Lancome rose using an exclusive, state of the art biotechnological process, these native cells are proven to extend their own exceptional properties to enhance skin’s appearance.  Full size $360.00

My thoughts:

Nice scent and very gentle on my skin.  Easy to apply after cleansing and before make up.  Definitely a very high quality product which is what I’d expect from Lancome.

Glossybox Bergdorf Goodman Review

All of the products in the Glossybox Bergdorf Goodman box were trial size however the $25 gift certificate to Bergdorf Goodman allowed me to pick something personally that I really want to try.  Since Bergdorf Goodman ships for free, this is an amazing deal.  I chose Clinique’s Stay Matte Oil-Free Makeup and will have a review of that up as soon as I receive it. This box is definitely worth the price paid and then some. Sign up for Glossybox today.
