I’m a huge fan of perfume and love wearing a new scent each day. While my taste tends to run toward cool, water scents, there are days I really want to do something a bit different. When I received the Elle L’aime Lolita Lempicka for Women for review, I was completely unfamiliar with the brand. Lolita Lempicka is a French fashion designer and perfume creator. Her first scent, self titled “Lolita Lempicka” was released in 1997.

Elle L’aime Lolita Lempicka for Women
Lolita Lempicka launched a new fragrance for women in the fall of 2013. Elle L’aime is a warm fragrance with a hint of the Orient. It is a very exotic, sensual scent that would work perfectly for evening parties where you want to come across as a confident, sexy woman. Notes include bergamot, neroli, lime, coconut, jasmine, ylang-ylang, vanilla, sandalwood and myrrh.
When I first read the description of the perfume notes, I was a bit worried the lime and coconut would give Elle L’aime a bit of a “sunscreen” scent. I don’t get that impression at all from this scent. Overall, to me, Elle L’aime has a more citrusy feeling to it with just the very slightest hint of coconut and vanilla. It’s definitely a very bold, seductive scent that I would find most appropriate for evening wear. The sillage alone will ensure all eyes will be on you as you walk through the room.
I definitely got a full eight to ten hours plus of wear for this scent. No need to reapply during the day to continue to enjoy it. The citrus notes do wear off as the day progresses and Elle L’aime turns into a more floral, feminine scent instead.
I was quite impressed by the Elle L’aime bottle. The crystal and gold appearance does lead you to expect an oriental, seductive scent which is quite fitting. It has just the right amount of femininity without being girlish and cute. Definitely a scent you’ll want to wear when you need that extra burst of confidence at a party.
Lolita Lempicka’s Unlock the Mystery Collection is the perfect gift for someone you love this holiday season, $100 at Neiman Marcus. The set includes a jasmine, ylang-ylang, neroli, sandalwood, and coco scented 80ml Eau de Parfum, 50ml Body Lotion, and Jewelry Cuff designed by the Lolita Lempicka family.

What a beautiful bottle to start with and I’m very curious about the mix of the heavier notes of jasmine, ylang-ylang and the fresh, exotic lime and coconut – sounds absolutely delicious! Xx

I definitely fell in love with the bottle when I saw it. It’s an amazingly seductive scent that I’m really enjoying.
wish i could smell it!!! 🙂
I am with you. That bottle is gorgeous!
I love trying new scents and this sounds wonderful. I love the scents from ylang-ylang, and sandalwood so I need to keep this brand on my radar.
I love bold scents that still capture the softer side of femininity. I’ll have to check this out the next time I’m at the Parfum store!
I love the way you reviewed this perfume! You described it so well that I feel like I can actually SMELL the perfume 🙂
It’s too bad that I’m so sensitive to perfumes because I’d LOVE to be able to be like you and wear a different scent whenever I wanted!
I love this just for the bottle alone! Gorgeous!
WOW – that looks super awesome – I love the design a lot
The bottle alone would make me want to purchase this! I bet is does smell wonderful.
This sounds really pretty! I love the bottle too.
I love the stylish bottle as well and while it doesn’t sound like a good match for me, I immediately thought of a dear from who would probably love this scent. Thanks for sharing.
The bottle design is really quite elegant! Now I’m curious about the scent.
what an interesting combination of scents. I never would have considered combining the lime and coconut with the other notes in it.
This looks like a great scent!
LOVE the packaging. If the scent is have as gorgeous, the designer has a winner!
Very pretty. I’m surprised the frankincense didn’t take a topnote as it is so potent.
I have been using Lolita Lempicka in the purple and yellow bottles for years. I need to try this scent, too! Sounds really lovely.
love the design of this bottle but i have never heard of this brand. Would love to smell the scent
Am I the only one that thinks this perfume smells like Acqua Di Gio?
I’m not familiar with that one.
