Disney Bath Bombs

I’ve seen so many fun princess bath bombs at the store, but I knew there had to be a way to make them myself.

Making bath bombs is so simple that making your own is a wonderful way to save money on your budget. I’m not giving up my favorite beauty products. But, some are easy to make yourself. Have you tried making your own soap?

These Disney Bath bombs use a Minnie Mouse mold and rose pink mica colorant. That’s what gives them the fun pink color.

But, you could easily use a different Disney mold and change the colors. Or, use a simple star mold instead. Keep them for yourself, or make a batch for the kids to use in the tub.

Do these bath bombs fizz?

They have citric acid, so they will fizz when you put them in the tub basin. Kids have so much fun with these, but grown-ups deserve to feel like a Disney princess too.

Relax your body and mind as these fizz in the water. You may decide to stay there for a while.

You only need a few simple ingredients to make these Disney fizzies for the kids or yourself.

The mica powder is optional, but it gives the bath bombs a nice pink color. If you want to, you can leave it out, but they will be white.

This product presentation was made with AAWP plugin.

  • Slowly add the liquid into the dry mixture while whisking the entire time. Be cautious in this step so as not to activate the fizz, or you will need to start all over.

  • Remove from molds, and store in an airtight container.

Note for using citric acid in bath bombs.

You must slowly add the liquid to the dry mixture to work correctly. If you add it too fast, it wills tart to fizz, and you will need to start over.

Can I add essential oils?

You can add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to the mixture before pressing it into the mold. Remember that too much oil will make the bath bomb fall apart.

I love using lavender or chamomile for relaxation or peppermint for a refreshing scent. Or, rose would go well with the colorant.

How to use these Disney bath bombs

Fill your bathtub with warm water and drop in a Disney bath bomb. Relax and enjoy the fizzing beauty fun.

Minnie Mouse is one of my favorite Disney characters. I love her big ears, red bow, and polka dot dress. These bath bombs bring all the fun of Minnie to your bathtub without having to go to Disney World.

How to store bath bombs

You want to make sure you store these in an airtight container, so they stay good. I would recommend a mason jar with a lid or something similar.

You can also wrap them individually in plastic to ensure they stay fresh longer.

Bath bombs are a fun and easy way to make your bath more luxurious. This Disney Minnie Mouse bath bomb recipe is perfect for anyone that loves the classic mouse. Change the colors to match your favorite Disney character, or keep them pink for a girly touch.

How to give these as a gift

These would make great beauty gifts for any occasion. If you are giving them as a gift, I recommend putting them in a cute box or bag. You could also make a label to put on the front.
