Cellulite Massage Soap DIY
Supplies:
1. 1-pound glycerin soap base
2. 2 tablespoons coconut oil
3. 10-15 drops ylang ylang essential oil
4. 10-15 drops geranium essential oil
5. 10-15 drops lavender essential oil
6. 3 complimentary mica coloring powders
7. 1 large microwave-safe bowl or measuring cup
8. 2 smaller bowls to separate for coloring
9. Spray bottle of rubbing alcohol
10. Massage soap mold
Instructions for cellulite massage soap:
Step 1: Cut the soap base into squares and place into a microwave-safe bowl or measuring cup. Heat for 30 seconds. Repeat, stirring after each, until melted.
Step 2: Add coconut oil to the bowl
Steps 3-5: Add the essential oils. Not only do these three have a beautiful floral scent, but they each also have properties that are anti-bacterial, Antiseptic and can boost your mood! Ylang-ylang balances the oils in your skin, geranium can reduce acne and all three can calm and relax you.
Steps 6-7: Evenly divide your cellulite massage soap mixture into the 3 bowls. This is about 4 cups, and you can use 1/4 cup for each layer. Add the first mica coloring to the soap mixture in bowl #1. Blend well.
Step 8-10: Spray the mold with the rubbing alcohol and pour the mixture into each mold. Spray the top with the rubbing alcohol. This prevents bubbles from forming. Allow hardening at least one hour.
Repeat steps 7-10 for the next two colors.
Gently pop out and store in an airtight container or Ziploc bag until ready to use
