Actress Carmen Ejogo made her mark at the Premiere of Summit Entertainment’s “Alex Cross” in Hollywood. Celebrity Makeup Artist Mai Quynh shared her makeup tricks for creating Carmen’s glowing look.

Face:

”I started by applying mark Calm & Composed Super-Soothing Moisturizer and mark Primed for Perfection Face Primer all over Carmen’s skin to create a strong, moisturized canvas. Next, I applied mark Min-A-Real Cream-To-Powder Foundation with Mineral Pigments in Medium 8 using the mark Foundation Brush. Then, I touched up any imperfections by dabbing mark Good Riddance Hook up Concealer in Medium/Deep under her eyes and around her nose and mouth. I set her foundation with mark Matte-Nificent Oil Absorbing Powder in Medium.”

Cheeks:

“I dusted mark Bronze Pro Bronzing Powder in Bronze to Carmen’s forehead, cheeks, chin and nose using the mark Angled Contour Face Brush. Then, I applied mark Just Blushing Powder Blush in Cameo to the apples of her cheeks using the mark Blush + Bronzer Brush for a radiant glow.”

Eyes:

“I applied mark Wet/Dry Eye Shadow in Moss to Carmen’s eyelids, from her lash line to her crease, using the mark All Over Eye Shadow Brush. Then, I applied mark Wet/Dry Eye Shadow in Tiki to the outer creases of her eyes using the mark Angled Contour Eye Shadow Brush. Next, I lined mark Keep it Going Longwear Eyeliner & Shadow in Entourage (black shade) along her top lash lines using the mark Flat Eyeliner Brush. I drew the black liner along her top lashes and winged out the end for a subtle cat eye effect. I finished by applying two coats of mark Lash All You Want High-Volume Mascara in Black to Carmen’s upper lashes.”

Lips:

“For Carmen’s lips, I applied mark Make It Rich Lip Color Crayon in Peony to complete the glowing look.”

I received the Wet/Dry Eye Shadow in Tiki to try out.  I was unable to get a good close up picture of what it looked like on.  It’s a gorgeous rich cinnamon shade that really worked well with my brown eyes. I love Carmen Ejoho’s final look! Don’t you?
