Burt’s Bees Lip Crayon Sedona Sands
Recently I’ve seen some of the tinted lip balm and lip glosses at my local Rite Aid and I loved those too! I have really been wanting to try the Burt’s Bees Lip Crayons but haven’t been able to find them locally. I finally broke down and ordered the Burt’s Bees Lip Crayon Sedona Sands shade from Amazon so I could try it.
The Burt’s Bees Lip Crayon is a new product that’s all natural and made in the USA. This is a full color matte lip color so no super gloss with this one. If you want that super gloss, you can easily layer on a lip gloss over the top.
It has Shea Butter, Kendi Oil, and Jojoba Oil so it goes on very smoothly and help keeps your lips moist much the way their lip balm does. I really like that this helps keep my lips moist – unlike some other lip crayons. It’s a very light moisture so there is no heavy, tacky feeling.

Burt’s Bees Lip Crayon is available in six different shades:
- Sedona Sands (pictured)
- Redwood Forest
- Niagara Overlook
- Carolina Coast
- Hawaiian Smolder
- Napa Vineyard
I generally shy away from lip crayons because I cannot stand sharpening them. I was very happy to see that the Burt’s Bees Lip Crayon doesn’t need to be sharpened. You just dial it up from the bottom when it gets low.
I think Sedona Sands is the perfect color choice for this time of year. It’s a muted color so I can stick with a natural look and it’s just dark enough that it doesn’t make you think of spring/summer color trends.
If you’re following the fall/winter 2015 color trends, I want to say that Burt’s Bees Lip Crayon in Sedona Sands is somewhere between Carnation and Mauve. Definitely a great choice. Buy it here.

pretty color! looks like it would be darker but it is gorgeous. I love burts bees!
I was expecting it to be darker too, Caitlyn, but I’m happy it wasn’t as I don’t think that would have looked as good with my coloring.
I love Burt’s Bees products, but I’ve never tried the Lip Crayons. I’m going to be on the lookout for these now. They look great.

What a pretty color! I’m picky about lip sticks as I don’t care for those with a fragrance in them or other feel too heavy. I’ll have to take a look for these. I’ve been wanting to try their makeup line.
