Some days you just want to sparkle. Most of my days are fairly routine. I wake up, get the kids out the door to school and settle down at my computer to work. If I’m very lucky, I may go to the grocery store or the craft store. I consider it a very exciting day if I get to stop and have coffee with a friend. Sometimes, I feel like I get into a make up rut. Even with all of the fun new beauty products I get to try out here, I often go with the same types of colors.

When I learned about a new brand (to me) of make up called BA*Star, I knew I needed to learn more. BA Star is a brand that’s number one with Cheerleaders, Dancers, Competitors & Trend Setters. They offer a variety of different types of make up for eyes, lips, and face as well as glitter, glue, brushes, bags and hair accessories.
BA STAR Stardust Mineral Eyeshadow
I received a BA Star Body Shimmer Base and a pot of Diamond Star Dust Eyeshadow. There are nine different colors in their Star Dust Eyeshadow line. Diamond Star Dust is a glittery white eyeshadow that is a loose mineral shadow. You apply the BA Star Body Shimmer Base first and then on top of that, you add the Diamond Star Dust Eyeshadow. The Body Shimmer Base helps the mineral eyeshadow stay in place. I applied the loose mineral eyeshadow with my fingertip but you could certainly apply it with a brush if you prefer.
Many of the products on the BA Star site are glittery because they are marketed for those who compete and perform. That doesn’t mean that your average fashion conscious woman cannot enjoy them as well. I applied the Diamond Star Dust Eyeshadow with a light touch because I was going to the grocery store and not heading out to cheer competition. I love the fact that it can give you a bit of sparkle even on an average day.

I haven’t heard of BA Star but I absolutely love this! I am a big fan of mineral makeup. And I love the “stardust” shadow color. Love love love!
Over the last few years, I’ve become pretty much obsessed with mineral makeup…but I haven’t tried sparkly/glittery makeup before. It looks great — and, depending on how you use it, it can be perfect for everyday wear or for a night out! I love it!
I love light shimmers, they make me feel extra feminine on days when I’m in a funk. I’ve never heard of BA STAR before, but I’m heading on over to check them out now!

Over the years (read: as I get older), I have become increasingly hesitant to wear makeup.

This mineral eyewear may be jus the touch of shimmer and in a light enough hue where I need’nt be concerned about looking like a clown.
