I’m sure you’ve seen those commercials on television touting the benefits of Retinol for aging skin? Did you know that Retinol is simply another name for Vitamin A? I’ve seen anti-aging creams with Retinol for $50 to $85 dollars a piece. While Vitamin A is definitely needed for aging skin, there is no reason you need to spend that much to get an anti-aging cream that contains Vitamin A. This post has been sponsored and a product was provided. The story is my own.

I love spending time outside in the fall. The weather is cooler and the leaves have started changing. It’s the perfect time for a walk in the woods. I’ve been working on collecting pine branches to make a Christmas wreath which means long walks searching for just the right branch or pine cone. As much as I love being outside in the fall, the cooler temperatures can be rough on my skin. Plus, the furnace is running again and the heat dries out my skin. At the end of the day, I find that I need much more face cream than during the warmer months.

Of course, face cream is something that I use every day now that I’ve noticed more and more wrinkles forming. I just use more of it during the colder months. When I first started using face creams, I thought that more expensive face creams were somehow better than those at lower prices. I haven’t found that to be the case, so instead I am focusing on face creams that contain vitamins that my aging skin needs.

I’ve been using the Anti-Wrinkle Vitamin A Retinyl Palmitate Crème from derma e® for about a week and I have started noticing less dryness and tightness. The flaky skin I was starting to notice around my mouth has disappeared as well. I love knowing that the Anti-Wrinkle Vitamin A Retinyl Palmitate Crème from derma e® has not only Vitamin A but also Vitamin E and Allantoin which can also be found in comfrey.

This face creme is cruelty-free, gluten-free and GMO free.  derma e® products can be found at most (but not all) Walgreens. The suggested retail price is around $12 and you can often find derma e® coupons as well. Right now, there is a $2 off coupon available.

  1. I like the derma e product line and also that it’s a good-sized amount in the jar. I won’t pay a hefty price for a half ounce to an ounce of product. I also eat a ton of carrots every week, so am sure getting my vitamin A, inside and out!
