I went to the Hubbardton Battlefield Reenactment in Hubbardton, Vermont earlier this month and had a chance to check out some of the vintage fashions that women and men wore. I have always been fascinated by vintage fashions so I wanted to share a few of my favorite pictures with you. The jewelry and hat photos are from a shop called Lady Ellen’s Fine Ware & the owner has a real store in Chester, New Jersey. You may remember that is the place I found this gorgeous bracelet.

Vintage Fashions
These photos are various people and places from around the reenactment. I just love the way people dressed a long time ago. They were so much more visually interesting than the clothes you see in the stores today.

Stunning! I love those pieces.
Happy Wordless Wednesday! If you haven’t joined in on the linky fun at The Jenny Evolution, there’s still plenty of time.
Oh My Goodness!!! I am in love! I love this vintage stuff. That is totally my style! I would wear it all the time if I could and wouldn’t get funny looks! Love it!!!
I just love those gorgeous broaches, the gold fan is so elegant. I’ve always been fascinated with period fashions.
We love going to things like this and seeing all the vintage clothes. We go to the civil war reenactment every year and my daughter is begging for a traditional dress.
That’s pretty neat. I think it’d make a fun day out to check out these stalls and jewelry.
That is so neat!!! I love vintage so much and the broaches are awesome!
Love, love, love shopping vintage. I wish we had more in my area.
