It’s a rare day that I leave the house without a few essential cosmetics in my bag. The last time I did, I had to leave early to bring my daughter’s boyfriend to work. I was in a rush and didn’t have time to do my hair or makeup. The car broke down on the side of the road, and I spent several hours sitting in the mechanic’s waiting room while he fixed the car. Several HOURS without my hair or makeup done. I felt very self-conscious, and the whole problem would have been solved had I brought my cosmetic case.

Vera Bradley Cosmetic Cases
I’ve been searching for a new cosmetic case to keep a few basics in, and I’m leaning heavily toward one of these Vera Bradley cosmetic cases. One of the reasons I love the Vera Bradley cosmetic cases is that they are 100% cotton and are machine washable.
If you typically carry your cosmetics with you, you know that they can be messy no matter how careful you are. I love being able to toss the cosmetic case in the wash instead of having to replace it or try to wipe it clean.
Of course, with all of the gorgeous patterns available from Vera Bradley, it’s impossible to pick a favorite. There are small, medium and large cosmetic cases. There are cosmetic cases for travel, and there is the “Blush and Brush” case that has room to hold your brushes as well as your cosmetics.

I see these on sale now and again and think I should pick one up for my sis. I have so many to use before I buy another.
Last time my car broke down, it was 10 am on a Sunday morning, last Father’s Day and I was headed to the grocery store, gas, ect. I didn’t even think about the fact that I had no makeup on and hair in a pony tail. I was just glad that when my clutch went out, I got to a curb safely to call a tow! I’m used to wearing very little makeup, so no worries.
