I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa as part of a travel opportunity with my lifestyle blog, Confessions of an Overworked Mom. While I was there, I was able to visit the Spa Django Texas Spa Resort.

Spa Django – Texas Spa Resort
So, Spa Django is named after one of the greatest guitar musicians, Django Reinhardt. Spa Django is a spacious, 18,000 square foot facility that offers 18 treatment rooms and men’s and women’s relaxation pools, a sauna, whirlpools, an outdoor spa pool, and more.
Pedicure at Django Spa
While we were at the the spa, I received the Herb Garden Pedicure. I selected a fresh herb to use in my pedicure experience. There are several herb gardens, and I loved enjoying the fragrance.
Since lavender is my favorite herb, I was very excited to choose that one. My sister (Diane from Turning the Clock Back), who also attended, chose rosemary.
The herb is used to create the salt scrub that exfoliates your lower legs and feet. They also use hydrating massage oil to add to your relaxation.
After the pedicure, your nails are polished with the polish of your choice.
Once my Herb Garden Pedicure was complete, I relaxed in the Women’s Relaxation Rooms while enjoying a cold glass of Strawberry Lime Water as I sat in front of the fireplace.

Sounds so relaxing. Your toes look lovely in your sandals.
I think those herb gardens are so neat- I love learning about natural treatments for anti-aging and skincare. That pedicure is also super cute with your shoes. It’s nice to have a spa on hand, especially when traveling for business!
You spa is better than mine. Well, I don’t actually have a spa or haven’t been in one in a longest time. Looks so fancy
I think it’s pretty cool that they use fresh, self-grown herbs for a pedicure! I’ve never heard of that before, and it sounds refreshing and relaxing. I think I would choose lavender as well–that sounds wonderful! And that strawberry water looks tasty too!
Gosh, I’m so sick, I could use a day at the spa! That looks so comfy and refreshing right about now.
I love herb gardens! I am interested in that pineapple geranium….never heard of that one before.
Looks like a great time. I love a good pedicure.
That looks really amazing! I love that they use fresh herbs like that at their spa, that is totally cool. The Strawberry Lime Water sounds very delicious and refreshing. Your feet look great! 🙂
Okay, so many things to comment on, don’t even know where to start. First of all, I, like Diane, would choose the rosemary! The strawberry lime water looks great…any chance you will be recreating that recipe for us? LOVE THE Pedicure (and sandals)!! Great pictures.
Maybe! You never know!
I love the Herb Garden pedicure! What a great idea! Thanks for sharing Ellen! 🙂
I would choose lavender too. They did a nice job on the polish.
That trip sounds delightful! I love pedicures and I can imagon how nice it would be with herbs in them. I was wondering about the rooms though.
