I’m the first to admit that I spend most of my time in jeans. They’re comfortable and can easily be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. I am heading to New York City this weekend to see an advanced screening of the movie One Direction: This is Us and attend a meet and greet event. This is the perfect occasion to dress up a pair of jeans so I can look stylish and comfortable at the same time.

Transitioning from Summer to Fall
Because I don’t dress up that often, I like to have pieces that can transition from one setting to another easily. This gorgeous Purple Asymmetrical Top from Wallis is the perfect transitional piece. It can be worn with a pair of jeans for a causal look or it could be paired with slacks or a skirt for a more dressy look. The deep purple color could easily work for any season which means I will be able to get more use out of it than something pastel for spring or rust toned for autumn.
I paired this shirt with my favorite skinny jeans, some cute purple flats with rhinestones and a set of purple and gold bangles. It’s dressy enough to work for many different occasions and casual enough for me to feel comfortable in. What do you think of my transitional look? I love the purple. It is such a great color on you!
I love that top and it is totally something I would wear. I like that it would hide some of my imperfections in the tummy area. 🙂
If I were you, I’d wear more purple! Looks so nice on you. Thanks for linking this up last week and for your Link up this week on the Verizon Voices Fashionista Style Hop.
Purple looks really nice on you! I also like the way this top kind of produces a “wrap dress” effect.
Thanks so much, Leah.I do love the color!
