Help Smooth Aging Skin
While you can’t stop the aging process, you can slow it down a bit by following these healthy tips that will help smooth aging skin. I don’t have hours a day to devote to my beauty routine so these are simple tips and a few helpful product recommendations that won’t take up all of your morning time.
Drink More Water
This is the most important health tip I can share with you whether I’m suggesting it for weight loss, more healthy skin or improved digestion. Your body needs water, and if you’re like most people, it needs more water than you give it. Make a special effort to drink more water each day. Aim for eight glasses of water at a minimum.
Always Apply SPF
If you’re going to be out in the sun for any amount of time, make sure that you always apply products with SPF protection. Whether you are skiing, gardening or walking on the beach, you need to protect your skin from the sun. Not only should you apply SPF lotion, you should be wearing a foundation with built in SPF.
Exfoliate Regularly
The Body Shops Drop of Youth Youth Liquid Peel is a brand new and revolutionary gel-to-peel that leaves skin clean and purified from the day’s pollutants by exfoliating and gently peeling off impurities from skin, lifting dead skin cells and residuals. An instant gratification immediate benefit formula, Drops of Youth Youth Liquid Peel works as an alternative to traditional exfoliators and continued use will leave a fresh, smoother and more luminous youthful-looking complexion.
Use Facial Oils
One of the signs of aging tends to be drier skin and using facial oils is a great way to treat dry skin. The Body Shop Oils of Life Intensely Revitalizing Eye Cream Gel is a new eye cream gel that uniquely boasts three precious seed oils with caffeine and illuminating micro-pearls to instantly refresh eye contours and visibly reduce the signs of aging. The eye cream gel combines Black Cumin oil, which possesses a concentration of antioxidants, Rosehip oil, rich in omega 3 and 6, and Carnelia Oil, which contains a high concentration of oleic acid to hydrate skin. The synergy of these oils creates an eye cream gel with supreme repairing and revitalizing properties.
Combining these simple tips with a healthy diet is an easy way to help smooth aging skin and minimize the signs of aging. The Body Shop products can be purchased at The Body Shop stores nationwide and Thebodyshop-usa.com.

These are all great tips. I am likely older than you and dry skin drives me nits especially in the winter. I have to keep reminding myself to do these things for myself.
I notice that my skin is so much drier in the winter too! so annoying!
Yes to all of these and I am still working on drinking more water. It’s the easiest and cheapest to do right? Still I struggle with it. I grew up with sulfur well water and still am not in love with water. Must trick myself to drink it more though.
It’s a challenge for me too!
I love using Rosehip oil as a moisturizer! I really need to work on drinking more water!
I struggle with that too!
I am drinking more water now. thanks for the tips I will try them . Especially this year I turn 60
Congratulations on a great age!
It seems that I’m not the only one that has problems drinking more water. I’m older and I think we have more choices of things to drink so we pick something other than water to drink. We didn’t have soda and juice when I was growing up, only as a treat.
It was the same when I grew up too, Mary!
Thanks for the tips on how to slow the aging of skin. Plenty of fluids is a forgotten way to keep your skin hydrated.
Very true, Nicole!
