Glossybox April 2014

The warm weather is almost here and while it’s not quite beach time in Vermont yet, I’m looking forward to it.  Now is the time to seriously pamper your skin to get beach ready. When I received the last Glossybox (Glossybox April 2014), I was thrilled to see that there were amazing premium products to help me out.

Glossybox is a premium beauty subscription box that features high end beauty products.  Delivered monthly, Glossybox only offers items from the very best brands.  I always feel pampered and excited when my Glossybox arrives each month. The April 2014 box included:

1.  Aqua Spa Relax Body Creme 2 oz.

Lavish skin with an ultra-rich conditioning body lotion that banishes dry skin while diminishing the signs of aging with Marine Youth Complex. Relax your body and mind with an aromatic blend of lavender and chamomile for calming effect. Full size 9 oz $10.00

My thoughts:

I am absolutely in love with this scent.  It’s light but enough to be noticed. It is absorbed quickly and leaves my skin soft and hydrated with no sticky residue left behind. I also love that it is made in the USA.

2.   Bellapierre Cosmetics Super Gloss in Vanilla Pink 

This lip gloss is made with natural ingredients and enriched with Vitamin E, jojoba, avocado and sunflower waxes. It is infused with a natural plumper, which helps minimize fine lines on and around the lips. Full size $24.50

My thoughts:

I’m not sure why this was named Vanilla Pink. To me, it’s more of a brown/copper color which won’t work for my complexion. I do like that it’s made with natural ingredients and am sure whomever I gift it with will love it.

3.  Caldrea Body Wash 1 oz

Emerge from the shower with smooth, radiant and renewed skin! Infused with brightening free-radical fighting angelica root and linden flower extracts, Caldrea Body Wash is a perfectly sudsing, softly sented way to greet the day. Full size 11.5 fl oz $18.00

My thoughts:

Again, another amazing scent that I love. It was very gentle on my skin and I love that there are no phthalates, parabens, formaldehyde, sulfates, DEA or artificial colors. It’s also not tested on animals.

4.  Ciate London Paint Pot

Ciate uses a combination of professional and lovingly chosen high performance formulas. The beautiful and sophisticated packaging encourages an incredibly artistic and effortless nail painting experience. Full size $15.00

My thoughts:

Very cute presentation of the polish with a little bow on the front.  The bottle is generously sized. I received Kitten heels which is a deep orangey red with a slight shimmer. Another great product that is made in the USA.

5.  LaSplash Cosmetics Eyeshadow Sealer Base

This product intensifies color and provides extra protection against smears and smudges for flawless 12 hour wear. Apply a very light coat of the sealer base to the area intended for glitter or shimmer. Full size $9.00

My thoughts:

This will definitely come in handy during holiday parties when I go a bit bolder with my makeup application.

The Glossybox April 2014 was definitely an amazing beauty subscription box. I love that there are three full size products in this month’s box! That is a fantastic deal.

While competitors offer 4-5 products in their sampling packages, GLOSSYBOX will always offer a minimum of five products.
