Taupe Smokey Eye with Kevyn Aucoin
Sorry about the difference in exposure. My husband was my photographer today. I’ve been playing with a few new Kevyn Aucoin products today and decided a taupe smokey eye would be my look of the day. My husband says it makes my eyes look sexy which is pretty darn impressive for a 45 year old woman. Here are the Kevyn Aucoin products I used:
The base for my lids to get the smokey eye look was achieved with Kevyn Aucoin The Single Eye Shadow in Taupe Grey (105). Love the quality of the Kevyn Aucoin shadows. They all have a mirror on the inside lid and they come with a little velvety bag to store them in. SRP $30
I got a chance to try a new Kevyn Aucoin product this time called The Sensual Skin Enhancer (SX4) and I think I’m in love. This is sort of somewhere between a cover up and a foundation and gives amazing coverage. What I did was mix a tiny bit of on the back of my hand with my primer and apply with my fingertip like I would foundation. A very little bit goes a long way. SRP $45

I also used the Kevyn Aucoin The Lip Gloss in Tulapina. SRP $29. I have very light skin and this super soft pink is the perfect shade for me. If you have darker skin or want more of a pop for your lips, the Absinthia is gorgeous as well.
