Back before Christmas, I stopped at TJMaxx to do a little bit of shopping. As I was wandering through the makeup section, I saw the Estee Lauder Travel Exclusive Pure Color High Gloss Minis on a Christmas display. I wasn’t really shopping for me at that point and the price of $44 was a bit more than I wanted to spend on a splurge.

I decided that I would keep my eyes on it and hope that it went on sale after the holidays. Well last week when I was checking out their spring clothes (because spring has to get here some day), I saw that these glosses were marked down to $29. Since there were only two left, I decided that was a great price and bought it, although I see it is priced lower on Amazon right now.
The Estee Lauder Travel Exclusive Pure Color High Gloss Minis contains 5 pure color high gloss mini lip glosses. To be honest, I’m not sure why they’re called mini lip glosses as they are only a tiny bit smaller than the ones I get from Victoria’s Secret. The colors included are:
- Pink Cloud (02)
- Coral Chic (06)
- Vixen Plum (05)
- Stolen Kisses (04)
- Flashdance (07)
My understanding is that the Estee Lauder Travel Exclusive Pure Color High Gloss Minis were available exclusively at Estee Lauder Travel Retail locations starting in January 2014. Thankfully, they’ve now made their way to other stores.
The colors range from a soft pink (pink cloud) to a dark plum (vixen plum). Coral Chic, Stolen Kisses and Flashdance are all various shades of darker pink. I think all of them will suit my complexion except for the Vixen Plum which is a bit darker than I normally wear.
The glosses have a nice feel to them and a good amount of color although I will say that they are darker in the tube than they are on your lips. There is a bit of stickiness to the gloss but nothing that’s overwhelmingly negative for me. If you don’t normally wear lip gloss, you may notice it more than you do with lipstick.
I’m definitely glad I picked up this collection and it’s certainly worth the $29 I paid for it. I’ve seen several for sale on eBay and Amazon so if you cannot find it at TJMaxx, check there.
