Easy Detox Tips

Detoxing is the process that our bodies use to eliminate sugars, toxins and other chemicals from our bodies. We may accumulate them through the products we use on our skin, the foods we eat, or the environment that we live in. Either way, we want to encourage them to leave as quickly as possible.

Given the lives we live, it’s inevitable that we have more toxins than our bodies can detox on their own. These easy detox tips can help improve the process.

Drink Water

I cannot stress enough how important it is for you to drink as much water as possible each day. Ideally, you should drink at least 8 to 10 glasses of water a day. Keep a reusable water bottle on your desk and in your car to encourage consumption.

Buy Organic

The fewer toxins you take in, the less your body will need to remove. By purchasing organic foods, you’ll minimize the number of pesticides, preservatives and artificial ingredients your body needs to process. Start small and focus on the foods that you eat the most.

Eat More Fiber

The more you eliminate on your own, the better. Increasing your fiber intake will encourage your body to regularly get rid of waste. Great sources of fiber include fresh fruits and vegetables so this is an easy step for people who are trying to eat healthier diets.

Drink Green Tea

Instead of having a morning coffee (or 3), try substituting a glass of green tea. Green tea is known for its detoxing properties. If you can’t give up your coffee consumption entirely, try substituting just one cup of coffee with green tea instead.

Work Out More

Getting in a good workout means releasing toxins through your sweat. Start your day with a healthy, high fiber breakfast and a good workout in Pommelló Sweats™.

Pommelló uses patent-pending fabric to help generate heat and increase sweat in a short amount of time. It also has anti-microbial properties. Basically, it gives you all the same detox benefits as a sauna or hot yoga session, but anytime, anywhere, taking any workout to the next level.

“Pommelló Sweats™ is designed to make you sweat easily in a short amount of time to help eliminate the harmful toxins we’re exposed to every day, which negatively impact our health and wellbeing,” says founder and CEO Calvin Ng, a Toronto-based apparel manufacturer whose family has been manufacturing for major Canadian retail chains since 1978. “Not only does wearing Pommelló Sweats™ while exercising detoxify your body in a non-invasive way, it’s also ideal for athletes who may need to efficiently drop water weight or engage in heat acclimation to increase performance and decrease recovery time.”

Pommelló Sweats™ currently has an Indiegogo campaign that you can support for as little as $10. If you support them at the $10 rate, you will receive a Pomello Sweats Detox Manual. Support them at a higher level to receive sport tops, capris, leggings, pants and other products.

  2. I want to try a good detox but I can’t until I go see my doctor this Friday. I had part of my bowel removed 2 years ago so I have to be careful what I do and make sure it’s alright with her.
