With the new year, there’s a renewed focus on getting a good workout and these easy detox tips will get you started correctly. Detoxing is the process that our bodies use to eliminate sugars, toxins and other chemicals from our bodies. We may accumulate them through the products we use on our skin, the foods we eat, or the environment that we live in. Either way, we want to encourage them to leave as quickly as possible.
Given the lives we live, it’s inevitable that we have more toxins than our bodies can detox on their own. These easy detox tips can help improve the process.
Drink Water
I cannot stress enough how important it is for you to drink as much water as possible each day. Ideally, you should drink at least 8 to 10 glasses of water a day. Keep a reusable water bottle on your desk and in your car to encourage consumption.
Buy Organic
The fewer toxins you take in, the less your body will need to remove. By purchasing organic foods, you’ll minimize the number of pesticides, preservatives and artificial ingredients your body needs to process. Start small and focus on the foods that you eat the most.
Eat More Fiber
The more you eliminate on your own, the better. Increasing your fiber intake will encourage your body to regularly get rid of waste. Great sources of fiber include fresh fruits and vegetables so this is an easy step for people who are trying to eat healthier diets.
Drink Green Tea

I want to try a good detox but I can’t until I go see my doctor this Friday. I had part of my bowel removed 2 years ago so I have to be careful what I do and make sure it’s alright with her.
