Cooling Cucumber Skin Toner
When using natural ingredients, it’s best to make a small amount of toner at a time. There are no preservatives in this cooling cucumber skin toner. It’s best to store this in the refrigerator in between uses to keep it as fresh as possible. Dispose of what you have not used in one week.
Ingredients:
- Cucumber with skin (small)
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar or milk for a more gentle toner
- 1/2 cup filtered water
- 1 tbsp aloe vera gel
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- One drop rosemary essential oil
Instructions:
- Grate the cucumber
- Put all the ingredients in a food processor or blender and blend until liquid.
- Strain to remove the solids.
- Apply to your face in the morning and evening using a cotton ball.
So why does this toner work so well?
Cucumbers – Cucumbers contain antioxidants and silica. The combination can help reduce puffiness. That is great not only for your skin but also for any under eye puffiness.
Apple Cider Vinegar – Apple cider vinegar dissolves dead skin cells, lightens age spots and helps balance your skin’s pH level.
Aloe Vera Gel – Aloe vera gel is very soothing and relieves skin irritation.
Lemon Juice – Lemons are antibacterial and have been used to treat acne.
Rosemary Essential Oil – Rosemary essential oil helps with toning your skin and removing dryness.
Wash your face normally and pat dry gently. After washing, apply this cooling cucumber skin toner to your skin with a cotton ball. Allow it to dry. Follow up with your regular facial moisturizer. Repeat both morning and evening for best results.

Oh now that just sounds so refreshing for my skin! I love the idea of such a natural skin toner!
Me too, Amber!
That sounds relatively easy enough to make. I like the smell of cucumber melon so I bet there’s a good chance I’d like this.
Easy is definitely the way to go!
I love using a toner at night, but I’ve never made my own. I will have to try out your recipe! Cucumber melon is my FAVORITE scent, btw.
I love the scent too, Krystal!
I know cucumbers are used on skin a lot, but I just want some ranch dressing so I can eat them instead!
LOL that works too, Scott!
I can imagine that these ingredients together would make an amazing toner! I think if I get the cucumber, I’ll have everything else I need to make it already.
Perfect! Hope you enjoy it!
Given our cucumber harvest this year I could have bottled this for years to come. It does look very refreshing.
Hope you have a chance to try it!
