BB Couture is a family owned and operated company that offers nail polishes that are vegan, cruelty free, and formaldehyde, toluene and DBP free.  They offer a healthier nail polish that has extra pigment for more vibrant colors.   Not only does BB Couture offer a nail polish line for women, they offer a nail polish line for men. I don’t actually know any men that wear nail polish but this is certainly something you don’t find every day.  I did suggest it to my husband, but, he got a horrified look on his face and disappeared upstairs quickly.

I received seven polishes from BB Couture to play with.  Here are the first three and I’ll be featuring the others soon.

For some reason I had a tough time keeping these neat so please excuse the polish on the cuticles.    In each picture, I used two coats of the color to get opaque coverage.  Then I followed with one coat of the Diamond Dust  for the sparkle. Ruby Rain and Ashes are part of their Saints of Ruin line which is part of their winter collection.

The base polishes alone have a bit of a shimmer to them and when you add on the Diamond Dust, you really get an amazing sparkle to your nails.  All of the polishes that are part of Saints of Ruin are quite dark and I’ve found that you definitely need at least two coats for full coverage.  They dry very quickly and without any streaks.  I really love the way these look with Diamond Dust over the top!

These 15ml bottles can be purchased directly from BB Couture for $9.95 a bottle.

This post is part of Manicure Monday.  Hope around and check out the other manicures.

  1. You can use a cotton swab dipped in acetone to help clean up your cuticles. Works great!
