A New Year and a New Scent

Last Updated on October 4, 2020 by Ellen Christian

Sometimes the New Year is time for a fresh slate and a new start.  If you’re considering updating your look for the New Year, consider updating your scent. I know that some days I spray on the same scent without even thinking about whether it’s a good fit for the occasion.  Some scents are better for casual wear and some for more formal evening occasions.

I also like to refresh my scent several times throughout the day.  That’s not always easy to do when I’m away from home.  I don’t like carrying bottles of perfume in my handbag even if they are the smaller, travel sized perfumes.  I always concerned that they will break or spill.

I recently learned about a new perfume from mark.  Fragrance hits (SRP $16), solid fragrance pencil trio is a set of three solid perfume pencils.  These solid perfume pencils come in three of mark’s most loved perfume scents:  Very Sassy, Jewel, and Celebrate.

Just draw with the pencil across your pulse point and you’re all set.  Re-cap the pencil and toss it in your bag for on the go touch ups.  Each fragrance pencil is about the size of a mascara so it takes up no room at all in your handbag or cosmetic case.

I love all of the scents in the Fragrance Hits collection but I think that my favorite would be the Very Sassy. For $16 for all three fragrance pencils, you cannot go wrong.  Treat yourself to a new scent today. Have you tried any of these scents before? Which is your favorite?

  1. This is a great idea. I’ve tried mark’s Jewel and have it as a portable mini (back when the scents were available in those). This is a much better idea. I’m sometimes afraid my mini-bottle will break.

  2. I have never used solid perfume. I would be interested in trying it in pencil form though because it would be so easy to reapply after a long day without getting the scent all over your hands or clothing.
