Fall is cooler temperatures and lower humidity. For me, it’s a time to slow down and prepare for colder weather. I’ve written before about a few of my favorite fall fashion and beauty tips. Check out these stylish shoes with arch support for fall. Starting your trip with sore feet is no fun at all. And, these fall wardrobe basics are just what your closet needs as the weather cools down.

Fall Beauty Essentials for Travel
It’s finally fall and you won’t want to leave on your trip without these beauty travel essentials. We all know our skin and hair changes based on the weather. Changes in temperature and humidity levels can have a huge impact on how our hair and skin look. I’m sure I’m not the only one that has a bad hair day in high humidity.
I’m all about healthy beauty. And, I’m a firm believer that healthy hair and skin will be naturally beautiful. When you care for your skin properly, it should be blemish-free and radiant. Hair that is nourished correctly will have more body and shine than if it were neglected.
Now that the weather is cooling down and there is less humidity, your skin will need more moisture. You absolutely don’t want to leave without your moisturizer. That is probably my number one product on my fall beauty essentials list.
Now, there are other factors that come into play like environment, weather, hormones, and medications. But, for the most part, making better choices will make a difference. So, what are my top travel beauty essentials?
Carry on beauty essentials
I always keep a few basic travel beauty essentials in my carry on. I have had my luggage lost just a few too many times. Here’s a basic list of fall beauty essentials. Change it up based on what you do or do not use in your beauty routine.
- Scrunchies
- Lip Balm
- Eye Cream
- Moisturizer
- Hand sanitizer
- Feminine products
- Toothpaste and toothbrush
- Deodorant
- Makeup wipes
This will take care of your basic beauty routine no matter what happens to your luggage. Or, if you need a quick touch up in flight, you will be prepared.
Travel beauty bag essentials
Now, I pack my larger cosmetic bag in my luggage. It contains all my fall beauty essentials for travel. Of course, you have to use the smaller TSA approved sizes. But, this is possible in most cases. So, here’s what I keep on hand when it comes to long flight beauty essentials.
- Sunscreen
- Tinted moisturizer
- Concealer
- Powder
- Blush or bronzer
- Tweezers
- A very basic eyeshadow palette
- Mascara
- Tinted lip balm or lip products
- Fragrance (use a travel atomizer)
Best drug store options
Now, there is no need to go crazy when you shop for your fall beauty essentials. There are lots of drugstore beauty products that work just as well as their more expensive alternatives. A few of my favorite drugstore brands are elf and NYX. They are affordable and work well. I also love the Neutrogena make up wipes and Mario Bedescu cleanser.
