MAKE ME UP FOR $25 CHALLENGE
The rules:
Posts may be sponsored. This post contains affiliate links, which means I will make a commission at no extra cost to you should you click through and make a purchase. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
Your monthly budget is $25. You can buy stuff anywhere you want, and buy anything you want, but you have to stay under $25. If you order online, S/H counts towards your $25. If you have money left over, you can use it towards the next month’s challenge.
Just like in every other aspect of life, sometimes we have to save up for things we want.
No coupon hauls. It’s about quality, not quantity.
I’ll be joining in on the $25 monthly makeup challenge each month. Who can refuse extra makeup? I know I can’t!
This month, I headed to CVS to see what I could find for make up. I am not generally much of a couponer but they had some pretty good make up deals so I thought I would try.
- Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Treatment Makeup $11.97 (get $3 ECB back)
- Salma Hayek Nuance Nail Lacquer Lilac & Moonflower $5.97 x 2 (get $3 ECB Back)
- I also used a $4/$10 CVS beauty product coupon
That comes to about $14 after coupons. I wasn’t expecting to spend any more than that but I took a trip to Burlington (about 2 hours north of us) and happened to find a MAC Cosmetics store. I tried to be good but couldn’t resist picking up a Lipglass lip gloss in Viva Glam for $16. So I went $5 over budget and will make sure to spend that much less next month.
What have you added to your make up this month?
