Deception by Kris Kennedy is just the book to curl up with at the end of a long day spent shopping and doing your nails. OK, it’s also a great book to curl up with after a long day of working and driving kids all over town too. We cannot all be socialites.
Deception by Kris Kennedy is set in the medieval time period. Sophia is not exactly your typical medieval woman. In the process of breaking and entering to reclaim her late father’s journal, she runs into Kier, an old love from her past. She must reclaim the journal or risk her dead father’s name being ruined along with the names of many wealthy merchants of England. Kier is bent on a mission of revenge and has sworn to himself not to let Sophia get in his way regardless of how he feels about her.
Deception by Kris Kennedy is an amazing book that made it impossible for me to put it down. The sparks fly between Sophia and Kier from the beginning and you just have to keep on turning the pages to see what happens next. This is the first book I’ve read by Kris Kennedy but I am definitely going to be looking for more. Purchase it now from Amazon.
