Raspberry Limeade Mocktail Recipe

Have you ever been at a party and all your friends are ordering Sex on the Beach and Fuzzy Navels and you’re all like “I’ll have a ginger ale.”?  You sit there with your rather unexciting drink while everyone else has brightly colored exotic drinks with little umbrellas.  Did you ever just want to grab one of those umbrellas and add it to your ginger ale just for fun?

The next time you have friends over, you can enjoy this Raspberry Limeade Mocktail recipe instead of a plain ginger ale. This is a great alternative for those who don’t drink or anyone who will be the designated driver after your party. Or, if you’re having a party and want the kids to have a fun drink too, you can offer them their own sparkling raspberry limeade.

Ingredients

Recipe Type: Drinks
Serves: 1
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup fresh raspberries
  • One cup Seagram’s Ginger Ale
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/8 cup granulated sugar
  • mint leaves to garnish

Instructions

  1. Mash 1/4 cup of fresh raspberries. You can sieve out the seeds if you like.
  2. Whisk in water to blend.
  3. Add the lime juice, sugar and 1/4 cup of fresh raspberries.
  4. Stir to blend and dissolve sugar.
  5. Serve over ice with fresh mint leaves to garnish.

This is by far one of the yummiest non alcoholic raspberry drinks that I have ever tried.  The raspberries are slightly tart but the sweetness from the sugar and the Seagram’s Gingerale were the perfect touch. Next time you’re entertaining, try this Raspberry Limeade Mocktail Recipe.
