How to Choose Scents that Relax You and Inspire

Scents that Relax You and Inspire

There are times I will go to my candle cupboard and light a candle with a certain scent just because I know I need a little help to get my head in the right place.  At the end of a crazy busy day, I need to relax because my mind is going about 500 miles a minute and I’ll get nothing done.

While everyone has their own favorite scents, I have several that I return to over and over again because they work for me.  Sometimes, I use them in my bath and body products. Other times, I light a candle or use a linen spray.

Sometimes I’ll diffuse essential oils in my diffuser. You can experiment with the scents that work best for you.  I try to keep my favorites on hand so they’re available when I need them.

  1. I’ve always been drawn to woodsy, spicy scents, like a sandalwood base. I even like most of the men’s sample fragrances in the magazines!
